Cleaning of Oil Water Separators

The Contractor shall provide all the personnel, materials, vehicles, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to clean the oil/water separators and settling pit and lawfully dispose of all liquid and solid waste generated. A. Cleaning of Separators: The oil/water separators need to be completely cleaned annually on a date determined by the County. Cleaning shall include the thorough cleaning of coalescer packs (may require removal of coalescer packs from unit), the thorough cleaning of interior walls, piping, inlets/outlets, etc. Vendor shall ensure no blockages exist in inlets and outlets after cleaning/pumping of all components. The vent lines shall also be inspected and cleaned as necessary. B. Cleaning of Settling Pit: The settling pit shall be pumped out and cleaned annually on a date determined by the County. Cleaning shall include the thorough cleaning of of interior walls, piping, inlets/outlets, etc. The vendor shall ensure no blockages exist in inlets and outlets after cleaning/pumping of all components.
