| Description | Scope: The Project includes to provide all material, equipment, and labor for installation of handrail at Briarcliff Road: Provide and install 548 feet of pipe handrail per GDOT standard detail 9031R as noted on the attached location map. The finish on all handrails shall be powder coat black. All joints shall be welded. The handrail is to be installed between the sidewalk and the decorative street light posts. The handrail is to go behind the traffic signal pole. Care is to be taken to avoid damaging underground electrical lines (marked in the field) for the decorative streetlights. Demolish and remove from the site the existing handrail sections in conflict with the new handrail. Removal of all construction debris is included. |
