Masonry Work

Clean and point the bricks on the north side of the City Parking Garage on Main Street. There is significant brick masonry deterioration on the east wall of the Sawtooth building; especially in the corner where it meets the north wall Of the garage. This is the first item that needs to be addressed. There also needs to be cleaning and pointing of the brick, backer rod and sealant at the open joints, and further inspection of the point where the two buildings meet. Windblown snow is getting between the buildings and melting. Inspection of all common wall joints can confirm sources of problems. While the masonry in the south-east corner of the Maker Space building shows the most damage, they are seeing leaks in each of the gaps between the engineered concrete panels.
