GI 115 to Chapman Sub 69 KV Transmission Line

Southern Public Power District GI 115 to Chapman Sub 69 KV Transmission Line Sealed proposals for the labor to construct the rural electric project of Southern Public Power District, (hereinafter called the Owner ) to be known as the GI 115 to Chapman Sub 69 KV Transmission Line. The Project will consist of furnishing labor and equipment for the construction of approximately 9 miles of 69 KV transmission line with 12.47 KV, three-phase, distribution line under build along the entire route. Construction is to commence on or before November 28, 2022 and be complete by May 26, 2023. The project is located in Merrick County east of the town of Grand Island, Nebraska. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in form attached or a certified check of a bank that is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the order of the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid price. The Owner will award the contract to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest and best proposal or, at its sole discretion, may reject any or all proposals. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond with sureties listed by the United States Treasury Department as Acceptable Sureties, in a penal sum not less than the total contract price.
