River Baldwin Recreation Center Roof Replacement

The Project consists of all Work, Services and Items required and necessary for the replacement of the existing roofing system for the River Baldwin Recreation Center at 135 East Liberty Street in Waterbury, CT. The River Baldwin Recreation Center was constructed in the early 1980s and had an addition built onto the existing structure in approximately 2008. Unfortunately, the City only has a drawing for the original roof. Drawings are not available for the addition and specifications are not available for either of the construction projects. The building’s area is approximately 13,100 sq.ft. and it contains metal roofing, shingle roofing, built-up flat roofing and EPDM membrane flat roofing. It is the City’s intent to furnish the River Baldwin Recreation Center with a high-quality durable roof that will provide long-term trouble-free service for staff and users of the facility.
