Walnut Park Playground Replacement - City of Brentwood

Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Brentwood, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field. Replace play equipment in Walnut Park to meet current ADA accessibility guidelines and Consumer Product Safety Commission guidelines. Resilient safety surfacing in playground areas will be renovated. Replacement play equipment parts can become unavailable and may create a situation where the playgrounds no longer meet either the current Consumer Product Safety Commission guidelines on safety or the current ADA guidelines. The play equipment at Walnut Park was constructed in 2000. As of June 22, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2022/23 - FY 2026/27 CIP. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2024. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
