Description

The Charles County Public Schools, La Plata, Maryland, requests sealed bids for Westlake High School Roof Replacement., Location-3300 Middletown Road Waldorf, MD 20603 PSC #: 08.031.23C Base Bid a. Work as specified to replace roof system on the Westlake High School as follows unless noted otherwise. b. Roof Replacement. Replacement of low-slope membrane roof systems on the High School and asphalt shingles on one, small outbuilding. Work includes removal of existing roof assemblies down to the roof decks. All existing roof membrane and edge-metal flashings to be removed and replaced. New roof assemblies shall consist of a vapor retarder, insulation, substrate and cover boards, PVC membrane, and asphalt shingles, self-adhered underlayment, and flashings. Includes associated work including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and painting. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Project Value is $4,000,000- $6,000,000. The Contractor shall be substantially complete the Work in two progress periods, first progress period: April 15, 2023, to October 15, 2023, and the second on-site progress period April 15, 2024, to October 15, 2024, for a total contract period of 761 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed.
