Description | Selective demolition and construction necessary for the Valley High School Theater Renovation, DSA A#04-119994, including associated civil, architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical and/or electrical work as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications. Generally, these categories of work involve new finishes, adaptive re-use and modification of certain selected areas, new cabinetry, handicap accessibility retrofits, re-roofing, and adding HVAC to instructional areas, library and administrative areas and pertain to changing and expanding selected infrastructure utilities, and extensive modifications. The modifications include the following: 1.2.1.1. Existing building #11 & electrical out-building - complete demolition per plan 1.2.1.2. Existing building #12 theater strategic demolition, renovation, & addition per plan 1.2.1.3. Selective / strategic demolition of existing building components for new work 1.2.1.4. Seismic upgrades per design criteria established in approved DSA # 04-119997 reh 1.2.1.5. Renovation of, and addition to, existing construction to remain 1.2.1.6. Site work 1.2.1.7. Demolition of existing site work per plan 1.2.1.8. CIP concrete south stair / lobby entry platform 1.2.1.9. CIP concrete east and west lobby exit door landings 1.2.1.10. CIP concrete north exit door landings and stairs 1.2.1.11. Landscape areas at west, south, and east 1.2.1.12. Northern paved areas and low walls surrounding building #11 1.2.1.13. Construction of new site work per plan, including: new cip concrete south lobby elevated plaza, stairs, and planters, new north commons / event plaza w/ cip concrete walls, ramps, stairs, paving, and turf / landscape 1.2.1.14. The successful bidder and its subcontractors will be required by the District to be bound by the terms of the CWA section 00 73 49. Prequalification Required: Yes All prequalification questionnaires will be received until March 11, 2022. Any contractor that has prequalified on a District project within the past twelve (12) months may be able to satisfy the prequalification requirements for this project.
