Description

*As of December 2022, this project is under construction. Sealed proposals are sought and requested by the Town of Stillwater, for the construction of a new Town of Stillwater Shared Services Facility located at County Route 76, Town of Stillwater, New York. Bids are requested for multiple Prime Contracts for the following Bid trades: (1) HVAC Work; (2) Plumbing Work; (2) Electrical Work (Including Voice/Data) in accordance with Drawings, Project Manual and other Bidding and Contract Documents prepared by Re4orm Architecture, 323 Clinton Street, Schenectady, NY 12305 and EP Land Services LLC, 621 Columbia Street, Cohoes, NY 12047. No pre-Bid walkthrough will be held, as this is a second bid. All questions prior to Bid opening must be e-mailed by October 28, 2022, to Luigi Stocchetti, Re4orm Architectural at (518) 399-4174 ext. 200, Luigi@Re4ormarchitecture.com. All Bids shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the Bidder, and shall be marked "Town of Stillwater Shared Services Facility", and indicate the Construction trade bid on. Bid Security: As Bid security, each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond made payable to the Town of Stillwater as described in accordance with the amounts and terms described in the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Minority and women-owned business enterprises are encouraged to submit Bids. The Town of Stillwater is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Alternative Action Employer. The Town of Stillwater requires that all Bids will comply with the Bidding requirement specified in the INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS. The Town of Stillwater reserves the right to reject any or all of the Bids received, to readvertise for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any and all informalities in any Bid received and to accept any proposal which Town of Stillwater decided to be for the best interest of Town of Stillwater to be assured that the Bidder is responsible and can carry out the obligations of the contract. No Bidder may withdraw his or her Bid before forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the Bid opening. All Bids must be made on the official Bid Form, and the Non-Collusive Bidding Certification Form pursuant to the General Municipal Law section 103, or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to (1) requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed, and minimum New York Labor Law prevailing Wage Rates to be paid under the contracts; and (2) Bidders are also required to comply with the anti-discrimination provisions of Section 290- 301 of the Executive Law of the State of New York; and (3) that the successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
