TID #13-Cannery District Park Development - 469-002 - City of Eau Claire

As of January 3, 2023, an architect has been selected and this project is in the final design phase. It is anticipated bidding will commence in February 2023, with construction following. This project is included in the City of Eau Claire's FY 2023 - 2027 CIP. Park amenities for development in the Cannery District. Development features will consist of a skate plaza, playground, scenic overlooks of the Chippewa River, a multipurpose field (soccer softball), and an athletic court accommodating pickleball and half-court basketball. Cannery Park development features will consist of restrooms, pavilions, outdoor fitness space, parking lot, performance area, and disc golf *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
