Erie Harbor Enhancements Phase II

This Project includes improvements to Erie Harbor Enhancements Phase 2 (Genesee Gateway Park), between Ford St and 151 Mt Hope Ave. The scope of the work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Furnish, install, maintain, remove project construction signage. 2. Furnish, install, maintain, remove, and dispose of erosion control mitigation measures including sediment fence, inlet protection and construction entrance. 3. Furnish install and maintain river protection features including a turbidity curtain and coffer dam for the duration of the associated work. 4. Demolition and disposal off-site of asphalt and concrete pavements, concrete river wall, play equipment, basketball courts, exercise equipment, grills, shrubs, fencing, signs, existing storm sewer piping and structures, and all other items required to complete work. 5. Salvage and re-install benches, bike rack and dog waste station associated with northern entrance to The Hamilton. 6. Salvage and re-install bollards and chain at new hand carry boat launch. 7. Furnish, install, maintain, remove work zone traffic control devices and trail detour, including but not limited to, signage, barriers, temporary trail pavement and striping. 8. Clearing and grubbing of trees and plantings and disposal off-site. 9. Furnish and install tree protection for existing trees designated to remain. 10. Saw cutting of existing pavements. 11. Furnish and install site furniture, including picnic tables, grills, trash receptacles, bike racks, bike repair station and benches. 12. Furnish and install entrance signage. 13. Furnish and install boulders. 14. Construct basketball court, including furnishing and installing containment fencing, stanchions, surfacing and striping. 15. Furnish and install play equipment with foundations and resilient safety surfacing, including base material. 16. Construct hand carry boat launch, including river wall modifications and debris deflection piles. 17. Construct new pavements including heavy duty asphalt trail, standard asphalt trail, concrete sidewalks, and stabilized decomposed granite. 18. Earthwork, including but not limited to, unclassified excavation and disposal and topsoil stripping, stockpiling and spreading. 19. Furnish and install storm sewer system including piping, catch basins, manholes, clean outs and connection to existing sewer line. 20. Fine grading and seeding of all disturbed areas. 21. Furnish and install trees with gator bags. 22. Furnish and install shrubs and groundcovers. 23. Furnish and install site lighting and power distribution, including but not limited to, connection to existing power supply, conduit, trenching and backfill, concrete pole bases, poles, luminaires, lighting controls, wiring, hand holes and all associated fasteners. 24. Furnish and install storm sewer system including pipe trenching and bedding, piping, manholes, catch basins, clean outs, underdrain, and connection to existing combined sewer.
