Description | Cortland County is seeking proposals for crack sealing and sealing, as well as a proposal for striping of the County parking lots in accordance with the specifications outlined in this request for proposals. All properties are available for inspection Monday-Friday between 8 am-3 pm. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Cleaning of all black top areas listed below 2. Crack sealing where required 3. Sealing of entire asphalt surfaces listed 4. Restriping of all lots; striping must be submitted as separate quote from sealing The following properties and square footages are to be done in this scope: 1. Cortland County Office Building, 60 Central Ave, Cortland; includes small lot on the corner of Greenbush and Central Ave. - 97,500 square feet 2. Cortland County Courthouse/Public Safety Building, 46 Greenbush St. Cortland - 69,000 square feet 3. 37 Church St., Cortland, District Attorney - 13,400 square feet 4. 112 River St. Cortland, DMV/Board of Elections - 26,100 square feet All properties available for inspection Monday-Friday between 8 am-3 pm. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The Standard County Contract (sample attached) will be the only contract accepted. Cortland County is not subject to sales tax. 1. Each Proposal is to be separated into: a. Part One: Cleaning, Crack Sealing, and Sealing. b. Part Two: Striping The County reserves the right to consider each Part separately in awarding of bids Questions or clarifications of items in this RFP must be submitted in writing to the contact person listed no later than close of business May 23, 2023. If questions or clarifications are submitted via email, please request a read receipt confirmation in the email. The governing legislative committee will evaluate proposals and request interviews if necessary. It is anticipated that a decision will be made on or about June 22, 2023. Cortland County will negotiate the contract terms upon selection of a vendor. All contracts are subject to review and approval by the Cortland County Attorney. This contract will outline the terms, scope, budget, and any other necessary items. A Standard Contract EXAMPLE is attached. The vendor awarded the County's business will be selected based on the offering with the greatest benefit to the County. Cortland County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to take exception to these RFP specifications or to waive any formalities. The County specifically reserves the right to negotiate a contract with the selected vendor. |
