144 East Crogan Street Patio Project

The work to be performed by the General Contractor consist of but is not limited to the following major items: Demolition & cleanup. Remove all waste from the site and chemically clean all installed masonry work. Supply and install to complete approximately 70 linear feet of structural 6" CMU block wall with rebar in every other cell. All cells will be grouted solid with Portland cement. The outer face of the wall will be veneered with Redlands brick to match existing walls as previously built walls at the Local Republic patio area. The wall will be approximately 20-32" high above the grade of the patio. The wall will step down as needed based on the contour of the grade to allow for a consistent as possible elevation. o Install complete 5 Columns 24x24 with matching brick and brick caps. The columns will have an electrical conduit to allow for lighting (to be determined and installed at the time of concrete pour) All labor and material included. The installation of red wire cut Clay brick pavers in a Herringbone pattern shall connect with existing pavers on the interior margin with the required matching header border. All pavers shall have a mortar joint between pavers and will be pitched to follow the grade of the area with no step downs in elevation. Upon completion, we will remove all waste from the site and chemically clean all installed masonry work. Modify and extend existing 15" RCP (+- 70 LF ) and install 4 x new DI'S as per the drawings. 24" Header concrete curb & gutter, 6 in thick o All work shall comply with all Federal, State, and local requirements and specifications. o The latest GDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Georgia Department of Transportation shall govern the construction of this project.
