35 Broad Street Infrastructure Upgrades

The scope of work for this project will include a preconstruction test and balance for systems to be replaced, demolition of (3) existing air handling units, (1) steam preheat coil, and existing steam and condensate systems in penthouse and (61) induction units on the 14th floor, installing (3) new air handling units, (1) hot water preheat coil, (3) hot water unit heaters, and (2) new condensing hot water boilers along with (3) pumps and associated piping and accoutrements to provide hot water to the equipment in the penthouse, installing (61) new induction units on the 14th floor, and installing (11) electric unit heaters, one per floor, on floors 4-14. The new installation will include all ductwork, mechanical piping, electrical, controls, and architectural modifications required to complete the scope, and any other items required in the contract documents. Controls for new equipment will be upgraded to BACnet compatible with new BACnet/IP interface panel to connect to the University BAS system. Existing to remain equipment controls will remain as is.
