Remove and Replace Existing Roof at Miami Job Corps Center

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Job Corps, seeks the services of a qualified small business general contractor (GC) to remove and replace the existing built-up roof over the Education / Vocation / Day Care, Building B, totaling approximately 19,602 square feet. The built-up roof system has reached the end of its useful life and replacement is necessary. The existing roofing system is comprised of built-up roofing in the low slope areas and metal roofing over the barrel vault sections, but this scope of work is not intended to make repairs to the metal roofing over the barrel vault sections which are being addressed separately.The work consists of construction services including all equipment, materials, and labor to remove and replace the existing built-up roof over the Education / Vocation / Day Care, Building B, totaling approximately 19,602 square feet.
