Advertisement sealed bids for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment of every description, all materials and supplies except those described herein as expressly being supplied by the atlantic city municipal utilities authority (the authority) and furnishing whatever else is necessary to furnish, deliver and install grandular activated carbon at the authority's filter building in pleasantville and faa technical center, egg harbor township nj., and such related work as is specifically described in and in strict accordance with specifications for said work adopted by the board of directors of the atlantic city municipal utilities authority Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check drawn upon a national or state bank or trust company, payable to the atlantic city municipal utilities authority in the amount of not less than ten percentum (10%) of the total amount bid; or a bid bond for the same amount, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00.
