Description

The project includes interior renovation of the existing Fire Station #3 to include a new laundry/decontamination room and addition of 900sf to house new locker rooms and storage. The General Contractor shall provide a fully qualified superintendent that is a full-time employee of the General Contractor on site at ALL times when work on site is occurring. Question Submission Deadline:August 9, 2022, 2:00pm A cashier's check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Murfreesboro, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the proposal, but in no event more than $10,000 must accompany the bid. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of the Code of Tennessee and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Architect; the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the Contractor's License document to be uploaded with the bid via OpenGov. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interest of the owner will thereby be promoted. Performance time: The project is a single-phase project and is to be completed within 180 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages apply to this project per the supplementary conditions.
