Description | Provide all material and installation of one new Heat Pump Split system unit in Region 6 Gym. All work must be completed prior to 9/30/2023. By submitting bid, Bidder affirms that all work will be completed by this deadline. 7/26/2023 5:00 PM CT Last day to submit written questions for clarification to DPS SCOPE OF WORK PROVIDE ALL MATERIAL AND INSTALLATION OF ONE NEW HEAT PUMP SPLIT SYSTEM UNIT WHICH INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: 1. Contractor will provide all labor, materials, and any needed rental equipment to remove and dispose of the existing 1.5 Ton split system and associated duct work. 2. Contractor will provide and install: o (One) 1 heat pump split system unit as indicated in attached specification Section 23 81 26 - DX Split System Air Conditioners with the air handler mounted horizontally above a drop ceiling. o The new condensing unit will be placed in the same footprint occupied by the existing unit with a new larger concrete slab. o Ductwork according to plan M1 and Section 23 30 13 - Ductwork and Ductwork Accessories. o (One) 1 Digital programmable thermostat o Hardware o Condensate piping o Insulation o Any other miscellaneous materials needed for a fully functional system. 3. The power for this project is 208/230 single phase. o The contractor will provide and install new disconnects and whips to each unit. o The contractor is to verify all conduit will be of sufficient size to comply with National Electric Code (NEC) standard for the size wire needed to comply with the Minimum Circuit Ampacity (MCA) of the new units o The contractor will be responsible for all the line voltage electrical wiring from the distribution panel to the local disconnect switch and to the unit. Including any needed breakers. o All low voltage control wiring will be replaced. o All conduit to be supported in accordance with the NEC. 4. Contractor will connect the cooling coil drains with 7/8" O.D. type "L" copper pipe. 5. Contractor will replace all refrigerant piping with new type L hard copper tubing sized per the manufacturer's specification suitable to the equipment used. 6. Contractor will provide supply and return grilles as shown on Drawing M1 7. Contractor will provide start-up, warranty on materials & labor. 8. Contractor will adjust and balance airflow to the CFM requirements on Drawing M1 |
