Albany Airport Hanger (Hudson Valley Community College Extension) General Contracting Work

HVCC is building a new FAA approved program at the Albany County Airport to teach maintenance and repair of aircraft equipment and engines. The college is renting space from the Airport to support this new program. The space requires renovation to meet the new program needs. This renovation includes general, mechanical and electrical work. The General Contractor will provide all labor and materials to demolish walls and floors, construct metal stud/sheetrock walls, install acoustic ceiling grid and tiles, install new doors, and other work as shown on design drawings. Walls shall be appropriately prepared including taping, finished and painted using HVCC approved paint (Sherwin Williams Tusk Tusk). All demolished areas will be patched, finished and painted. Ceiling grid shall be installed to match a section of the existing ceiling for height and quality. Tiles shall match existing tiles. General Contractor will work in conjunction with Mechanical and Electrical contractors to insure rough in piping and wiring is installed before walls are closed. The General Contractor will be responsible for obtaining all required building permits for this project.

Division 09 -	Finishes, Plaster and Gypsum Board, Ceilings, Flooring, Painting and Coating.
Division 21 -	Fire Suppression.
Division 22 -	Plumbing.
Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Instrumentation and Control for HVAC, HVAC Air Distribution.
Division 26 -	Electrical, Lighting.
