Description | The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and plant to construct Water Plant Improvements 2020 for Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 2 on behalf of Brazoria County Municipal Utility District Nos. 2, 3, 6 & The City of Pearland. Water Plant No. 1: The work includes, but is not limited to, touch-up coating the Ground Storage Tank No. 1 roof vent; blasting and recoating the Hydropneumatic Tank No. 1 interior; touch-up coating the Hydropneumatic Tank No. 1 saddle foundation; blasting and recoating the Hydropneumatic Tank No. 2 interior; recoating the Hydropneumatic Tank No. 2 air equalizer piping; re-grading the area around the Hydropneumatic Tanks Nos. 1 & 2; applying protective coatings to the Water Well No. 1 air release valve; touch-up coating the light pole and light pole base; and touch-up coating the booster pumps pipe support. Water Plant No. 2: the work includes, but is not limited to, touch-up coating the Ground Storage Tank No. 1 exterior; demolishing and replacing the Ground Storage Tank No. 1 overflow weir hatch; brushing, cleaning, and galvanizing a conduit body at the exterior ladder of Ground Storage Tank No. 1; touch-up coating the Ground Storage Tank No. 2 interior, overflow weir box, interior ladder, and roof rafters; touch-up coating the Ground Storage Tank No. 2 exterior, hatch covers, level transducer flange, manway cover davit arm, and piping; touch-up coating the Ground Storage Tank No. 3 exterior; touch-up coating the Hydropneumatic Tank No. 1 drain line flange cover; touch-up coating the Hydropneumatic Tank No. 1 saddle foundation; touch-up coating the Hydropneumatic Tank No. 2 fill line flanges; touch-up coating the Hydropneumatic Tank No. 2 saddle foundation; touch-up coating the Water Well No. 2 pump head; touch-up coating the Water Well No. 2 motor support; coating the Water Well No. 2 air release valve; touch-up coating the generator conduit fittings and enclosure; and touch-up coating the confined space cover. Water Plant No. 3: the work includes, but is not limited to, repairing the generator enclosure with a welded steel patch; touch-up coating the booster pumps; touch-up coating the booster pump air release valve; touch-up coating the Elevated Storage Tank interior and roof rafters; touch-up coating the Elevated Storage Tank flap valve and altitude valve; repairing the Elevated Storage Tank altitude valve; replacing the Elevated Storage Tank roof hatch hinge; replacing the Elevated Storage Tank interior fall protection; wire brushing, cleaning, pickling, and passivating the Elevated Storage Tank piping; draining and disinfecting Ground Storage Tank No. 1; touch-up coating the Ground Storage Tank No. 1 discharge line flanges, roof vent, overflow weir box, and interior ladder; draining and disinfecting Ground Storage Tank No. 2; touch-up coating the Ground Storage Tank No. 2 interior roof rafters and skimmer plate; touch-up coating the Ground Storage Tank No. 2 roof access hatch, overflow weir box, overflow piping, interior ladder, and ultrasonic transducer flange; capping the injection saddle on the fill line for Ground Storage Tank No. 2; replacing the Ground Storage Tank No. 2 safety rail and clamp supports; touch-up coating the Water Well No. 1 discharge head, air release valve, flow meter, and discharge piping; applying additional plastic wrap and Winmore tape to gate valves at Water Well No. 1; touch-up coating the Hydropneumatic Tank opening; applying a protective coating to the Hydropnuematic Tank conduit connections; touch-up coating the booster pump in the Chlorine Room; and providing a direct ground path from the RF surge protector to the system ground. Water Plant No. 4: the work includes, but is not limited to, breaking out the cracked concrete and replace the grout at the splash block for Ground Storage Tank No. 1; touch-up coating the Ground Storage Tank No. 1 ladder access hatch cover; and repairing or replacing the chlorine room door closer. Remote Water Well No. 3: the work includes, but is not limited to, touch-up coating the Water Well No. 3 discharge piping and recoating the Water Well No. 3 check valve. Remote Water Well No. 5: the work includes, but is not limited to, touch-up coating the Water Well No. 5 air release assembly; demolishing, and replacing the existing polyphosphate building and foundation with a CMU building with new concrete foundation; relocating and reinstalling the existing polyphosphate equipment into the new polyphosphate building; demolition and replacement of an underground duct bank; electrical modifications in the control building; and installation of a lighting panel and conduit in the prop polyphosphate building. |
