D264900, PIN 181142, FA Proj Y240-1811-423, Schenectady Co., HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS, RT 914V, Town of Glenville., Bid Deposit: 5% of Bid (~ $75,000.00) Install overheight vehicle detection system to reduce the number of overheight vehicle bridge collisions at the CSX Railroad Bridge over Glenridge Road. Project will include an electronic detection and active warning system, as well as a vehicle turnaround area or diversion route. Project Location is from Route 146 to Maple Avenue. Town of Glenville, Schenectady County. The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Fall 2022. Construction is expected to begin in Winter 2022/2023. Construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2023. This project is located in the CAPITAL DISTRICT region and includes the following: Counties SCHENECTADY SARATOGA Every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check payable to the NYS Department of Transportation, in the sum of the amount shown on the proposal title page.
