2023 Street and Utility Improvements

Sidewalks/Curbs/Gutters, Water Utilities, Street/Roadway Reconstruction Watermain loop, Sanitary Sewer lift station, Storm Sewer and Manholes, catch basins, fittings, valves, hydrants, and items related to construction. Street reconstruction, including excavation, aggregate base and bituminous pavement, and any other related items of construction, according to the Plans and Specifications on file in the office of the City Clerk. 1,500 LIN. FT. 8" WATERMAIN 140 LIN. FT. 8" WATERMAIN DIRECTIONAL DRILLED 300 LIN. FT. 12" STORM SEWER 1 EACH SANITARY LIFT STATION 1,300 CU. YDS. COMMON EXCAVATION 2,650 SQ. YDS. GEOTEXTILE FABRIC 2,200 TON AGGREGATE BASE 1,520 LIN. FT. CONCRETE CURBING 5,650 SQ. FT. CONCRETE WALK/DRIVES 600 TON BITUMINOUS PAVING Including gate valves, valve manhole, catch basins, concrete removal, pavement removal, erosion control, traffic control, hydrants, site restoration and related items of construction according to plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Clerk. All Work associated with Project 1 shall be completed on or before August 11, 2023. All Work associated with Projects 2 and 3 shall be completed on or before October 6, 2023. The Clara City 2023 Street & Utility Improvements consist of: Project 1 - North Wolverine Drive, from Division Street to MACCRAY School Improvements involve a watermain loop, complete street reconstruction with new aggregate base, curb & gutter and bituminous surfacing, sidewalk replacement, and new storm sewer. Project 2 - South Hawk Creek Watermain Loop Improvements involve a watermain loop across Hawk Creek along MN highway 7 on the south side of Clara City, with new watermain and associated site restoration. Project 3 - Thein Lift Station Improvements involve the replacement of the Thein Lift Station located near the intersection of 4th Avenue and 4th Street. Also included is 4 inch sanitary forcemain and associated street and site restoration.
