Description | **As of December 9, 2022 project was awarded to Charlotte Construction and Consulting Services LLC , awarded amount is $381,877.89.** Scope of Work: Replacement of existing HVAC units with four new AHUs and respective condensing units. Includes deenergizing of existing chiller, chilled water pump, and cooling tower including all associated equipment, piping, drain piping, and controls. Includes demolition of chilled water piping and four existing AHUs. New units are refrigerant based AHUs for cooling and heating provided by existing boiler. Includes new ceiling work, controls, and electrical circuiting to support installation of new equipment. Bids received after the announced time and date for submittal will be rejected. Bidders shall be the prime contractor and have a NC General Contractor License. Bids will be received for Single Prime. All proposals shall be lump sum. The final day for questions regarding this bid is November 8, 2022 The bidder shall include with the bid proposal the form Identification of Minority Business Participation identifying the minority business participation it will use on the project and shall include either Affidavit A or Affidavit B as applicable. Forms and instructions are included within the Proposal Form in the bid documents. Failure to complete these forms is grounds for rejection of the bid. (GS143-128.2c Effective 1/1/2002.) General contractors are notified that Chapter 87, Article 1, General Statutes of North Carolina, will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts. General contractors submitting bids on this project must have license classification for NC General Contractors Licensing Board under G.S. 87-1) Bid bonds, performance bonds, and payment bonds will NOT be required for this project Payment will be made based on ninety-five percent (95%) of monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 30 days. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. |
