Well No 8 Retrofit

The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these specifications to have the existing production well, known as Well No. 8, mechanically redeveloped to increase the capacity of the well. The work includes two (2) 8-hour pumping tests at the well to determine the present yield and drawdown of the well and the upgraded capacity of the well upon completion of the work; removal of the existing pump and other equipment; furnishing and installing a new well pump; Installing new highefficiency motors for Well No. 8 and associated wetwell; replacing of worn or defective components prior to reinstallation of the well components or equipment; TV inspection of existing well conditions; well redevelopment using the specified mechanical methods and chemicals; vibration testing and clean-up and site restoration.
