Description

Boone County NHPP 2759 (139): I-275 Address Condition of I-275 in Boone County from Mp 1.582 to Mp 7.25, a Distance of 5.67 Miles. Jpc Pavement Repairs - Diamond Grinding. Syp No. 06-20006.00. Minimum Wage Rates for These Forgoing Projects Have Been Predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and Are Set Forth in the Proposals. The Department of Highways Hereby Notifies All Bidders That It Will Affirmatively Insure That in Any Contract Entered Into Pursuant to This Advertisement Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Will Be Afforded Full Opportunity to Submit Bids in Response to This Invitation, and Will Not Be Discriminated Against on the Ground of Race, Color, or National Origin on Consideration for an Award. The Special Provisions of Highway Projects Financed With Federal Highway Funds Applies to Federal Aid Projects. These Forgoing Projects Contain a Percent That is Designated for Disadvantaged Business Enter- Prises (Minority Owned and Women Owned Businesses). Proposals for These Projects Will Be Available at the Division of Construction Procurement Website. Contractors Must Register for Each Project They Intend to Bid. The Bidder Registration Form is Available on the Website. The Department Will Only Accept Bid Registration Forms From Contractors Who Are Prequalified in the Work Categories of the Particular Project. Registration Will Be Closed at 3:00 Pm on the Day Preceding the Letting. This may be done by fax (502) 564-7299 or email to kytc.projectquestions@ky.gov. The Department will attempt to answer all submitted questions. The Department reserves the right not to answer if the question is not pertinent or does not aid in clarifying the project intent. The deadline for posting answers will be 3:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time, the day preceding the Letting. Questions may be submitted until this deadline with the understanding that the later a question is submitted, the less likely an answer will be able to be provided. The questions and answers will be posted for each Letting under the heading "Questions & Answers" on the Construction Procurement website (www.transportation.ky.gov/contract).
