Renovate Communication Building 1109; Project Numbers: FAKZ162109. The 187th Fighter Wing intends to aw ard a firm fixed-price contract for construction to renovate communication building 1109, as per Specifications and Draw ings Dated 1 June 2021. Project Number FAKZ162109 w ill include the exterior renovation of the building, as w ell as the constructions of a new entrance vestibule. The Magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this project is 236220. The Small Business Size Standard is $45,000,000. This aw ard is 100% set aside for Small Business. Funds are not presently available for this contract. Currently the Government anticipates funds w ill become available prior to, but no later than, midnight 30 September 2023. This action has been identified on the National Guard priority list for aw ard if funds become available and are w ithin an aw ardable range, aw ard w ill be made to the responsible bidder w hose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price and price related factors.All questions and Requests for Information (RFI) must be received NOT LATER THAN the Tenth working day prior to bid opening. Project scope includes sitework, subgrade excavation, and relocation of existing utilities and mechanical systems for the replacement of existing facade systems and installation of new site paving at the existing Communications Facility, Building 1109, on the 187th Fighter Wing Campus. The project includes the following as indicated on the drawings. 1. Demolition: a. Removal of existing asphalt and concrete paving systems. b. Removal of existing concrete curb and gutter. c. Removal of existing in-situ earth as required to support new paving systems, new entrance vestibule, new site walls, and new exterior cladding systems. d. Removal and replacement/reconfiguration of existing underground utilities as required to support the new work. 2. Construction: a. Construction of new asphalt and concrete paving systems including concrete curb and gutter. b. Installation of new exterior cladding systems on all existing building exterior wall assemblies. 3. Sustainability Design and Energy Conservation: a. The project design incorporates Sustainability Concepts to achieve optimum resource efficiency, constructability, sustainability, and energy conservation. b. This project will not be registered with the USGBC nor will it pursue certification by a third party rating system. c.
