Work covered by the Abatement Base Bid at the high school (no work at the elementary school) includes the complete removal of approximately 170 linear feet of piping wrapped in asbestos containing insulation via the gross removal method. Work covered by the Mechanical Base Bid includes at the high school the partial demolition of the existing corridor plaster ceiling, lighting fixtures, cutting of new masonry wall penetrations for new ductwork, hydronic heat piping, ceiling and wall mounted ventilating heat pump system, and residential window units. New work at the high school includes the installation of a new 2x2 ACT ceilings, LED light fixtures, roof mounted DOAS unit, roof mounted condensing units, EPDM roof patching, structural reinforcing, new gypsum soffit, new gas piping, and interior and exterior painting for five classrooms and the corridor. Work covered at the elementary school the demolition of the existing corridor ACT ceiling, lighting fixtures, cutting of new masonry wall penetrations for new ductwork, floor mounted packaged HVAC units, and flooring in seven classrooms. New work at the elementary school includes the installation of a new 2x2 ACT ceilings, LED light fixtures, roof mounted DOAS unit, roof mounted condensing units, wall-mounted mini-split units, new gas service and piping, EPDM roof patching, structural reinforcing, and interior and exterior painting for twelve classrooms and the corridor. Corresponding Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems will also be included. Work covered by the Alternate Bid #HS-1 at the high school includes the installation of new roof mounted condensing units, EPDM roof patching, and interior painting for four classrooms and the office areas. Corresponding Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems will also be included. Work covered by the Alternate Bid #ES-1 at the elementary school includes the demolition of the existing ACT ceiling, lighting fixtures, cutting of new stud wall penetrations for new ductwork, and two roof mounted packaged HVAC units in the Pre-K area. New work in the Pre-K area includes the installation of a new 2x2 ACT ceilings, LED light fixtures, roof mounted DOAS unit, roof mounted condensing units, ceiling-mounted cassette units, EPDM roof patching, structural reinforcing, and interior and exterior painting for two classrooms and all adjacent spaces. Corresponding Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems will also be included. Work covered by the Alternate Bid #ES-2 includes the demolition of the existing corridor ACT ceiling, lighting fixtures, cutting of new masonry wall penetrations for new ductwork, floor mounted packaged HVAC units, and flooring in seven classrooms.
