| Description | The Southeastern NM Economic Development District/Council of Governments (SNMEDD/COG) is seeking Contract Services for Disaster Response and Recovery Services for Lincoln County and the Village of Ruidoso. The Village and County have been recovering from the McBride Fire that began April 12, 2022, and is responsible for the loss of two lives and over 200 homes. Services required but are not limited to: managing and coordinating disaster recovery efforts between Lincoln County and the Village of Ruidoso; identify and apply for state and federal funding to reimburse and implement activities to reduce losses incurred; track activities; expenditures and regulations required to receive FEMA and other funding; act as a liaison with federal, local and state agencies regarding disaster recovery and other related services. Experience and knowledge in emergency preparedness and response and knowledge of FEMA and NRCS programs preferred. |
