Description | *As of August 25, 2022, the owner has placed this project on hold for reconsideration at a later date. A note from JJO Construction: We are still looking for bids on Structural Steel and Metal Stud Framing. Should you have any questions about this project please contact our estimator, Chris Womack, directly at 440-479-6538. Plans call for the construction of a new 3-story self storage facility with an office, men & women's restroom and exterior trash enclosure along with new drive aprons, asphalt parking and driveway. This project consists of site development and new construction of a steel framed building for a 74,721 SF Self Storage Facility. The project is anticipated to begin early to mid-June, please bid accordingly. This project is to be bid incorporating ALL of City of Austin's requirements as would be typical for your trade and scope of work; include costs for ALL requirements. If your scope of work is valued over $50,000.00 please include an alternate price to provide a performance and payment bond for the entire value of your scope of work. The following trades will be required to complete this project: Site Clearing/Prep/Earthwork - include all demo as will be necessary for the new construction; SWPP - Erosion Controls - Include cost for SWPP Book; Underground Site Utilities - Include an alternate to provide asbestos abatement of the ac water pipe and the ac waste water pipe, Fire Line, Water Line and Waste Water provide lead times for AC fittings required for new ductile iron/pvc connections; Storm System - catch basins, storm pipe, filtration/sedimentation storm box w/ splitter, headwall outlet system; Asbestos Abatement - 12" Water Pipe and 8" Waste Water Pipe; Fencing and Gates - Storm Box Fence and Gates; Landscaping and Irrigation; Concrete Retaininig Wall; Concrete Pavement, Sidewalk, Curb, Building Foundation/Floor Slab, Concrete Composite Decking for 2nd and 3rd Floors; Masonry - CMU; Retaining Wall Structural Steel - Fabrication and Erection of Beams, Columns, Tube Steel, Canopy Structure, Elevator Shafts and Stairs; Galvalume Metal Wall Panels; Metal Stud - Structural Framing, Zip Wall Sheathing; Insulation; Stucco; Caulking - include parking lot joints; Roofing - 60 mil TPO, Scuppers, Downspouts and Coping; Doors, Frames and Hardware; Overhead Doors; Glass and Glazing - Include Glass Wall Panel System; Acoustical Ceilings; Painting; Flooring - Sealed Concrete Floor, Ceramic Floor and Wall Tile; Elevators; Restroom Accessories; Plumbing; Fire Protection/Sprinklers; HVAC; Electric; Fire Alarm *The owner requests that all subcontractor / supplier inquiries be directed to the GC Bidder. |
