Airfield Lighting and North Taxiway A Pavement Rehabilitation

The project consists of upgrading the runway lighting system of the west parallel taxiway/apron pavement. Sever cracks will be rehabilitated to provide a reliable/consistent taxing surface for aircraft. Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or slate bank in an amount not less than five percent /5%) of the total maximum bad price payable without recourse to the Owner. of a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will eater into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract to him. Such bid guarantee shell be made payable to City of Sand Springs. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Oklahoma to act as surely or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. All Bidders shall make good Faith efforts. as defined by Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26. Regulations of the Office of the Secretary of Transportation, to subcontract a minimum of 3.3% of the dollar value of the prime contract to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (DBE),
