Home Energy Improvement Project - North Carolina Weatherization Assistance Program

Action Pathways is accepting subcontractors’ bids for a home energy improvement project under the North Carolina Weatherization Assistance Program. The program is sponsored by the State Department of Environment and Natural Resources Weatherization Program Offices. The contract requires the weatherization of homes in Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Cumberland, Hoke, Montgomery, Moore, Pender, Robeson, Sampson, and Scotland Counties during the period of 07/01/2019 – 06/30/2020. During the course of this project, subcontracted work is required to install energy saving measures, to service and/or install heating equipment in customers’ homes, to perform minor electrical repairs in customers’ homes, and to perform minor plumbing repairs in customers’ homes. Action Pathways is requesting proposals from interested parties who are properly licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina in the following individual trades: general contractor; heating, ventilating and air conditioning; electrical; plumbing; energy auditors; quality control final inspectors. Bid Packets will be available for pick-up after 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Action Pathways on 321 Dick Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301, or available for complete examination online at www.actionpathways.ngo. A bidder’s conference is scheduled to discuss the details of the project on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at 9:00 AM at 321 Dick Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. Bids are ongoing and will be accepted through Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 316 Green Street, Fayetteville, NC 28302, or may be mailed to the attention of Action Pathways, Kimberly Stafford.
