Underground Utilities

1. Provide a comprehensive plan to accommodate all effected public and private overhead utility contractors impacted per the project plan 2. Successful bidder will meet with all public and private utility contractors impacted per the project plan to secure the necessary parameters and requirements of the individual utility providers including but not limited to any requirements to mitigate service interruption 3. Prevailing Wage and NIZ compliance and reporting project 4. Establish and maintain an OSHA compliant project site 5. Manage Soil and Erosion Control permit requirements and activities impacted by contractor during project duration 6. Provide Traffic Controls as needed 7. All PA One-Call mark-out locations for underground 8. Saw-cutting of road surfaces as required to perform excavation 9. Removal of any sidewalks as required to complete installation 10. Excavate utilizing means necessary to not damage existing underground utilities 11. Excavation and restoration must proceed according to the approved phasing plan to ensure disruption to the ongoing construction activities within the immediate area are not shut-off 12. Supply all labor and materials, including reinforcement, to construct duct-banks per the project duct-bank plan including reinforced concrete encasement 13. Supply and install all utility approved underground vaults per approved plan 14. Removal of any utility poles remaining from public utilities 15. Restoration of all trenches per public utility and City of Allentown road restoration requirements 16. Restore all paved surfaces to new wearing course specifications per the City of Allentown 17. Any traffic signs removed or effected during the completion of this scope shall be reinstalled or replaced and installed as required 18. Traffic line striping to be restored as required.
