Cleaning of the Three 3 Mg Potable Water Storage Tanks

Work at three 3MG Potable Water Storage Tanks includes exterior cleaning to provide complete removal of all dust, salt, and organic growth present on the exterior tank surfaces. The tanks include the Dover-Chester Road Tank, Markewicz Tank No. 1 and Markewicz Tank No. 2. Work at two 3MG Potable Water Storage Tanks includes interior washout, disinfection and tank closure. Contractor shall unbolt and open two manways during washout activities to facilitate the internal inspection by MCMUA and its consultants. The tanks include Markewicz Tank No. 1 and Markewicz Tank No. 2. The contract time for completion of the total contract is sixty (60) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Interim completion times will also apply as follows: seven (7) calendar days to perform and complete all cleaning activities per tank. The MCMUA reserves the right, in accordance with applicable law, to reject any and all proposals that substantially or materially deviate from the specifications and other required bid documents, and further reserves the right to waive immaterial irregularities and informalities in the proposals in accordance with applicable law.
