Description | The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment and all other items necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to the solicitation. See the bottom of the Standard Form 1449 continuation sheets for the associated solicitation attachments. Project Title: Maintain Roofs and Cleaning at Pearl Harbor National Memorial (PERL) Location: Pearl Harbor National Memorial, Island of Oahu, Hawaii The period of performance for this effort is 14 days from contract award. A site visit is notionally scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2022, at 1:00 PM HST. See Attachment 4, Site Visit Information, for additional information. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561790 (Size Standard $8M). Delivery: 14 Days After Award Period of Performance: 09/15/2022 to 11/18/2022 The acquisition is in support of Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park (HAVO). This is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561790. The small business size standard is $8.0 millions of dollars in annual receipts. SCOPE The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center was expanded and renovated in 2010. The complex features two exhibit galleries, outdoor shade structures, several restrooms, an education building, a theater, and a bookstore. The buildings were designed with a "wave" architectural style. All roofs are curved and or rounded. Several of the buildings are of two story or equivalent height. There are 40,000 square feet of GAF TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) roof membrane and 1,800 linear feet of gutters and downspouts. An inspection of all roofing system components will be done, and any deficiencies documented. All work will be done to GAF TPO roof manufacturers standards or supervised by a GAF Certified Maintenance Professional. Proper protective measures will be taken to protect membrane surfaces. All debris will be removed from the roofs, gutters, and downspouts. All TPO membrane surfaces will be cleaned following the attached GAF Cleaning Recommendations for EverGuard(R) Roofs doc. All runoff will be captured and properly disposed of to the greatest extent possible. It can run onto the lawn but not into the harbor. 3.0 OBJECTIVES 40,000 square feet of GAF TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) roof membrane and 1,800 linear feet of gutters and downspouts will be inspected and cleaned of all debris, moss, algae, and dirt. The roofs and gutters will be cleaned and returned to good condition. The offeror shall e-mail questions concerning sensitive technology to the Department of State at CISADA106@state.gov. |
