| Description | Bid Package 1 Roof Replacement: Remove existing shingles and membrane roofing at widow's walk down to wood roof deck. Abate hazardous materials as required. Install underlayment, new shingles and new EPDM membrane. Install new gutter liner. Repair/replace wood soffit & fascia trim as indicated. Bid Package 2 Porch Reconstruction: Temporary support of existing porch roof structure, ceiling, entablature and balustrade. Remove existing porch roofing. Verify condition of existing porch roof deck and framing, remove and replace as required. Partial demolition of existing porch structure (including column piers), removal of wood columns, floor framing, stairs and porch flooring. Salvage balustrade members and column covers in good condition. Re-construct new column footings and piers, new wood columns as required, new porch framing, flooring, stairs, railings and balustrade. Provide new EPDM membrane roofing. Repair/replace existing wood entablature, porch ceiling and roof railing. Re-install salvaged materials. Bid Package 3 Attic Window Storm Panels: Install exterior storm panels to existing round-top wood windows at the attic level windows. Bid Package 4 Exterior Painting: Remove existing lead-based paint; scrape and prep all wood siding and trim. Apply primer and coatings as specified. | ||||||
