Replace Water Main on West Main Street - WWD-14-W - City of Statesboro

Replace approximately 2,650 feet of the existing 4" and 6" cast iron water main and service lines on West Main Street with a new 8" PVC main. Replacement will be from Foss Street then east to the railroad tracks. The water main will be replaced due to the West Main Street Scape Project. The majority of the cost is associated with replacing the sidewalk on one side of road ($195,000) and for design and contingency funds. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of September 24, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
