Pardee Recreation Area and Pardee Center Water Treatment Plant Improvements

PN-19587.02 Estimated Cost: $2,500,000 to $3,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. After the Pardee Center tour, the group will travel individually over to Pardee Recreation Area Water Treatment Plant. This is the only time that the Treatment Plants will be open for inspection. The inspection will last approximately 1 hour at each site. No photography by the Attendees will be allowed. The District will take photographs, as requested by the Attendees, restricted to the work zone. The District will release photographs to Attendees after the bid walk, pending review by the District. All Attendees are required to have a photo ID and sign a confidentiality agreement not to share, sell, or publish photos. The Prime Contractor and its subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend the jobsite inspection where a "sign-in" sheet will be provided. Requirements of the District's Contract Equity Program including the Local Hire component will be discussed and explained at the jobsite inspection. Pardee Recreation Area Water Treatment Plant: Work includes removal and disposal of the existing ultra-filtration water treatment skid module, pumps, piping, and appurtenances; installation of a new ultra-filtration water treatment skid module, two new backup up generators, pumps, piping, electrical, controls; start-up and calibration of the new treatment system and perform required testing. Pardee Recreation Area Water Treatment Plant Dechlorination System Improvements: Work includes the removal and disposal of the existing wastewater dechlorination system (tablet feeder system, connection between backwash holding tank and underground contact tank, utility vaults) and improvements to the effluent sample building, new captor dechlorination system, new electrical and dosing pump, consolidate and verify controls routing and communication to SCADA; provide eye washing station and spill prevention kits. Pardee Center Water Treatment Plant: Work includes removal and disposal of the existing nano-filtration water treatment skid module, pumps, piping, and appurtenances; installation of a new nano-filtration water treatment skid module, pumps, piping, electrical, controls; start-up and calibration of the new treatment system and perform required testing.
