Description

Work includes installation of a stand-alone overhead utility pole and installation of a new siren mounted to the new utility pole, with power connection to an available source in the vicinity of the project. The new utility pole location is anticipated to be installed at the Town Public Works site. The contractor will determine the most suitable location for the new siren by coordinating with the local power entities and all stakeholders. The new siren must be compatible and operate seamlessly with the existing Lyons emergency warning sirens. After purchase and installation of the new siren, testing and training will be necessary to ensure the stakeholders are successful in future operation and maintenance of the siren.
