Salado Creek Childsafe Connection

This Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, services, equipment and appliances required with, or properly incidental to all construction detailed in these plans which shall include, but not be limited to demolition, concrete walk/trail, trailhead, trail node, parking lot, drainage, site furnishings, masonry, signage, concrete flat work, concrete foundations, site grading, landscaping and signage. The Bid includes three Base Bid Items (these are not alternates). a. Base Bid 1 – Trailhead and Trail Connection; to include but not limited to, demolition, site clearing, site preparation, site grading/excavation, tree protection, tree removal, concrete removal, concrete flatwork, concrete walk/trail, ADA parking improvements, signage, trailhead/trail amenities, and all other miscellaneous materials and labor required to install the Trailhead and Trail Connection as shown in the plans and specifications. This bid item includes all items as described and any other items not included in Base Bid 2 or Base Bid 3. b. Base Bid 2 – LID Features; to include but not limited to, demolition, site clearing, site preparation, site grading/excavation, limestone boulders, topsoil, sod/hydroseeding/re-vegetation establishment (for the entire project site), landscape beds and all other miscellaneous materials and labor required to install the LID Features c. Base Bid 3 – Trees; to include but not limited to, demolition, site clearing, site preparation, site. grading/excavation, tree plantings, tree watering and all other miscellaneous materials and labor required to install the Trees. Scheduling of the Work 2. Prior to any construction work, Contractor shall first obtain City approval for yard storage fencing and establish vehicular and pedestrian access. Alt 1: $9,400.00; Alt 2: $100,000.00; Alt 3: $12,000.00.
