Fountain Maintenance and Repair Services

All labor, equipment, tools, and materials to perform fountain maintenance services at the Santa Clara Convention Center Complex, Maintenance Skim fountain pools for trash and debris. Test the water for proper chemical content and add the necessary algaecides. Empty and clean the pump strainer baskets and skimmer baskets. Check pump operations. Verify the pump is operating properly. Report any abnormalities to management for action. Verify the sump pump is operating and the sump is clean without obstruction. Backwash filters when normal operating pressure rises 10 psi or as needed. Clean tile band. Keep equipment vault space in a neat orderly fashion. Monthly cleaning of cobbled area around the Convention Center, Hotel & Techmart fountain. Monthly removal of grates and cleaning out trash and debris accumulated in each of the fountain wells. Install plate covers over wells whenever the fountain (s) is shut down. Supply and install temporary barricades and fencing around fountain as a safety precaution. Safety equipment rental and labor to be billed on a Time and Materials basis when used.
