Construction of Water System Improvements 2022 DRA Grant

The Contractor to whom an Award shall be made pursuant to this procurement shall be subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations, including but not limited to the acts commonly known as the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Act (40 USC 276a through 276a-5) as defined by the United States Department of Labor, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570) and the federal Build America, Buy America Act requirements contained in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Pub. L. No. 117-58. The submission of a proposal or bid by the Offeror in response to this IFB or RFP constitutes an acknowledgment of and an agreement by the Offeror that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act. BIDDERS will also comply with the Citys Project Labor Agreement (PLA) with the Egyptian Building and Construction Trades Council. A copy of the PLA is contained in the Contract Documents. All federal and state labor requirements shall remain in place and supersede any conflicts associated with the PLA. A Payment and Performance Bond is required in connection with this project, said Bonds shall specifically provide that the Principal must pay all sums of money due or to become due for any labor in accordance with the Federal Davis-Bacon Act.
