Description

Request is to fund the shortfall that exists due to rapid cost escalations that were not forecasted when applying for state grants. This project will construct a new ball field, two futsal courts, two picnic shelters, a perimeter path with lighting, a jogging path with lighting, and a restroom and storage building. The pool and bathhouse will be renovated. Basketball courts will be renovated and expanded. Existing sports fields will be renovated to be multipurpose soccer fields. Existing paths will be renovated and lighting added. One parking lot will be refurbished and new spaces added. Landscaping will be refurbished and enhanced throughout the park. This project is in included in the City of Stockton FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of July 18, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
