Greece Central School District Reimagine Phase R4a - Odyssey Fitness Contract 402A Plumbing Construction

Separate sealed proposals for the following Contracts: 402A - Plumbing Construction, for the Greece Central School District, "Reimagine Greece Capital Improvement Project -- Phase R4A" in accordance with Drawings, Project Manual, and other Bidding and Contract Documents prepared by Clark Patterson Lee, 255 Woodcliff Drive, Suite 200, Fairport, New York 14450, Due to increased building security, all vendors are advised to allow ample time for all hand-delivered bids to be received prior to the 4:00pm bid opening. Bidders must enter the building at Door #5 where they will be directed to G32 by security personnel. Bids submitted by mail or by courier service should be sent to Greece Central School District, Purchasing Office, 750 Maiden Lane, Rochester, NY 14615-1296, Attention: Paul Palmer. Bids shall be submitted in triplicate on the form provided in the documents, prepared and set forth in the Instructions to Bidders and enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on its face the name and address of the bidder and contract number and title of work to which the proposal relates. Under General Municipal Law 102(2), the Owner shall return the entire amount of the deposit submitted by each successful and unsuccessful bidder whose bid is accompanied by required bid security, upon the proper return of one set of plans and specifications. If an unsuccessful bidder obtains more than one set of plans, the Owner, upon the successful return of all additional sets, shall also return an amount equal to the deposit for one of the additional sets of plans and specifications less the cost of reproducing the set. If a nonbidder properly returns all sets of the plans and specifications, the Owner shall return an amount equal to the deposit for one set less the cost of reproducing the set. Sets to be returned to DATAFLOW. The Board of Education hereby reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be for the best interest of the school district. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders, must be submitted by each Bidder with their Bid as a guarantee that in the case of the contract being awarded to them, they will within ten (10) days thereafter, execute such contract and furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, and that Bidder shall not withdraw their Bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the above date of Bid opening, and to guarantee the performance of all other obligations of the Bidders as set forth in Instructions to Bidders. Attention of the Bidders is called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract as well as to other provisions set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Work shall be commenced and continuously and diligently prosecuted immediately after contracts have been signed. REVISE deadline date for questions in the sixth paragraph, from April 4, 2023 to May 9, 2023 The deposit will be refunded upon the return of the Bidding Documents in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the Contract covered by such plans and specification, or rejection of Bids. The full amount of such deposit for one copy of the plans and specifications shall be returned to such Bidder, including the successful Bidder. Partial reimbursement in an amount equal to the full amount of such deposit for one set of plans and specifications per unsuccessful Bidder or non-Bidder less the actual cost of reproduction of the plans and specifications shall be made for the return of all other copies in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the Contract or the rejection of Bids.
