Description

1.Prior to beginning work, the Contractor shall provide information that describes in complete detail, the products to be used in the project and their proper application. 2.Contractor is responsible for removing all furniture to clean, repair, prep, trim and paint. Contractor will also be responsible for returning all furniture to its designed space once all painting is complete. 3.Contractor is responsible for using drop cloths on floor to ensure paint does not get on the flooring. 4.Contractor shall properly prepare all surfaces for painting. Clean all surfaces free of dirt, grease and any other foreign matter that would adversely affect the finished appearance or protective properties of the paint applied. 5.Contractor is responsible for repairing all sheetrock damage and holes before applying paint. For any reason the surface to be painted cannot be properly prepared, the conditions shall be promptly reported to the business manager, otherwise the contractor shall take full responsibility for rectifying any resulting unsatisfactory finish. 6.Paint color to be chosen by the Danville Health Department. Paint should be type that can be cleaned/and wiped. 7.Wall finish shall require at a minimum of one coat of self-priming commercial grade paint applied at a spreading rate recommended by the manufacturer. Apply additional coats as required when undercoats, stains or other conditions show through the final coat of paint. Trim is not to be painted. 8.All paints/primers shall be spread or flowed on smoothly to cover with proper film thickness and without runs, streaks, skips, bleed-through, or other defects. Paints and primers must be applied in their full, undiluted strength. Dry rolling marks or brush marks are not acceptable. 9.Trim-Paint shall be cut in neatly around all edges and joints. Neatly draw all break lines or use trim tape so that lines are straight and neat. 10.Contractor will caulk all crack and crevices where needed.
