Description

For the following projects: Contract 1/2023 will consist of the Contractor installing approximately 2,000 tons of (2" Depth) 9.5mm Wearing Course (PG 64-22, 3.0 to 10.0 million ESAL's SRL-M), 400 tons of (2" Depth) 19mm Binder Course (PG 64-22, 3.0 to 10.0 million ESAL'S SRL-M), Keyways, and Traffic Control Measures. Contract 2/2023 will consist of the Contractor, installing approximately 70 tons of (2" Depth) 19mm Binder Course (PG 64-22, 3.0 to 10.0 million ESAL'S SRL-M), 950 s.y. of Leveling Course (9.5mm PG 64-22, 3.0 to 10.0 million ESAL'S SRL-M), 560 s.y. of 1" Wearing Course (9.5mm PG 64-22, 3.0 to 10.0 million ESAL's SRL-M), 17,035 s.y. of 1/2" Wearing Course (9.5mm, PG 64-22, 3.0 to 10.0 million ESAL's SRL-M), 9,240 s.y. of 2" Wearing Course (9.5mm, PG 64-22, 3.0 to 10.0 million ESAL's SRL-M), 8,170 s.y. Asphalt Paving Fabric, Keyways, and Traffic Control Measures. The Contractor shall inspect and review each roadway of each projects' area prior to submitting a bid The Contractor is advised that the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage requirements apply to both projects as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry. Notice is hereby given that the contractors are subject to provisions of the Public Works Employment Verification Act. Each Proposal shall be accompanied with a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of Dunbar Township. Dunbar Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening. Dunbar Township Scope of Work I I I I I I I a. Addenda I I b. Bid I I I I I 1 The Work to be done under the Contract, as shown on the Plans and Specifications, shall include the furnishing and complete installation of all Materials and any other necessary Work required for proper completion, operation and use of the facilities. All the equipment, Materials and labor that may be necessary to complete the Work and place it in satisfactory operation, implied or intended in the Plans and Specifications, shall be furnished and/or installed by Contractor without extra cost to the Owner. Any person, partnership, firm, corporation, limited liability company, or other business entity submitting a bid for the Work. Written or graphic instruments issued prior to the execution of the Contract Agreement that modify, clarify or interpret Contract Documents, Shop Drawings, Plans and Specifications, by additions, deletions, clarifications or corrections. The titles or headings of the various divisions, sections, paragraphs, subparagraphs or of Shop Drawings, and the Table of Contents and the indexes, as used in any of the Contract Documents are for convenience of reference only and are not intended to limit and shall not be construed as in any way limiting the application of the text
