| Description | The existing roof area on the school is approximately 87,000 square feet and is separated into four (4) enumerated sections. The school opened in 1991 and the roof is original to the building. The existing roof is a four (4)-ply built-up roof system over three inches (3”) of rigid insulation comprised of two and a half inches (2 ½”) of polyisocyanurate and a half inch (½”) perlite cover board. The structure in most cases has a minimum slope of a quarter inch (¼”)in 12inches. Crickets will be provided to direct water to sumped roof drains. |
