Description | The Project will be installing three (3) warehouse stations, relocating the Collections Yard, including the construction of a covered truck parking area, to the CM Trailer Parking Lot, and demolishing the existing Warehouse and Collections Yard at Plant No. 2. Location & Description of the Work: The Project is located at Plant No. 2 at 22212 Brookhurst Street, Huntington Beach, CA 92646. The Project will be installing three (3) warehouse stations, relocating the Collections Yard, including the construction of a covered truck parking area, to the CM Trailer Parking Lot, and demolishing the existing Warehouse and Collections Yard at Plant No. 2. Telephone questions will not be accepted. Any questions received after this date may not receive a response. All communications concerning this IFB must be in writing. Written questions regarding details of this IFB will be accepted (i.e., must be received) by OC SAN until 1:00 P.M. (Pacific Time Zone), March 23, 2023. Written questions must be sent to the attention of Wai Chan, Contracts Administrator at Contracts, Purchasing & Materials Management Division of the Orange County Sanitation District at 10844 Ellis Avenue, Fountain Valley, California 92708 or by email at construction@ocsan.gov A. Demolition work to include the following: 1. Existing Plant 2 Warehouse, including utilities, footings, landscaping, and other facilities. 2. Existing Guard Shack and utilities. 3. Covered Parking Structures at Existing Collections Yard. 4. Guard Railing and Guard Posts at New Collections Yard. B. Work to include relocation of the following: 1. Conex boxes at existing Collections Yard to be relocated to new Collections Yard. 2. Two existing fire hydrants and guard posts to be relocated at new Collections Yard. 3. One existing backflow device and guard posts to be relocated at new Collections Yard. 4. Two existing light poles to be relocated at new Collections Yard. C. Warehouse Station A (WSA) and new Collections Yard to include: 1. Prefabricated structure for WSA, with related grading, paving, power supply feeder, receptacles, grounding, fencing, gates, security cameras, and utilities. 2. New Collections Yard, with fencing, gates, a prefabricated covered parking structure, site lighting and utilities, a vehicle washdown pad, slurry sealing of existing pavement, and new paving as indicated on drawings. 3. CNG compressors and fueling system at new Collections Yard. 4. Air filling equipment at new Collections Yard. D. Warehouse Station B to include: 1. Prefabricated canopy for WSB, with related floor slab, footings, and protection of existing utilities. 2. Electrical feeder to WSB from power Distribution Center H. E. Warehouse Station C to include: 1. Fencing and gates inside existing Maintenance Storage and Shops. F. Oil Dock and Security Booth work to include the following: 1. Replacing power feeders to existing Oil Dock with new feeders from the existing Centrifuge Building. 2. Replacing IT infrastructure for the existing Oil Dock, with new fiber optic connection to existing Centrifuge Building. 3. New fencing to close in Oil Dock area, and security camera for Oil Dock area. 4. New Security Booth at Bushard Gate, with related IT and electrical service, krails and pavement striping. |
