| Description | Providing authorization to perform scheduled programmed maintenance and testing to a variety of brands/types/sizes/variations of fire extinguishers. All programmed maintenance and testing shall be per NFPA 10. Wake County Public Schools has approximately 10,000 fire extinguishers of varying sizes in its inventory. Extinguishers are inspected and maintained on a code required 6 year cycle. Contractor is expected to provide maintenance, inspection, and recharging of approximately 1700 extinguishers of various sizesand type per year. |
