Counties: Broward, Miami-dade, Palm Beach, Turnpike Road Name: Ramp Asphalt Maintenance - Zone 1 Limits: Midpoint Project(s): 44888717202(*) Federal Aid No: N/A Total Roadway Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Days: 365 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Total Proposal Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/A Aquis/Flexible Start Time: 14 The work specified in this contract consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform maintenance and repair of ramp asphalt pavement, including replacing existing asphalt pavement, providing thermoplastic pavement markings, and raised pavement markers, at various locations on the Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike, Milepost (MP) 0.0 to 46.5, Florida's Turnpike, MP 0.0X to 100.0, and Sawgrass Expressway, MP 0.0 to 22.5. The Contractor shall perform all work during day and night hours in accordance with the Turnpike Lane Closure Policy. Night work shall be performed between the hours of 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday Morning. No U-turns shall be permitted as a condition of this Contract, except at Service Plazas. No Pre-bid Conference Will Be Held for This Project. Contractor Experience Documentation: Expertise and Experience is Required in the Performance of Asphalt Paving And Pavement Markings. The Experience in Asphalt Paving Form (850-070-01) and the Experience in Pavement Markings Form (850-070-06) Must Be Filled Out and Submitted to Be Reviewed by the Department. If a Contractor is Presently Prequalified With the Department in Hot Plant Mix Bituminous Course, and Pavement Marking It is Not Necessary to Submit the Forms. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
