Description

To procure contracting services to manage, operate, and maintain Nassau County's transit system, the Nassau Inter-County Express. The selected contractor will provide the fixed route and paratransit services to meet the transportation needs and challenges of residents, workers and all riders. The scope of work includes providing fixed route service seven days a week on a network of 38 fixed routes, and demand response/paratransit service 24 hours a day, seven days a week; management, operation and maintenance of operating facilities including a Compressed Natural Gas facility.
